See how these 3 Art steps can reclaim Your Sense of Self in a wonderfully creative way. At this time, we are all being Called Back Home, to rediscover what we value, love, and choose. Remember the play of painting, creating, and just making stuff for the fun of it?
Kids don’t judge their art in the beginning. They just make marks and colors freely. Art was a time to explore and discover the new cool things they could do. The inner critique didn’t exist yet. They had compassion and patience for themselves.
Let’s return back to that feeling. Begin by believing in your self again. Know that what you make is all about the process of doing, not the end result. Make ‘me’ time for yourself. Figure out your values. Spend time by yourself, trying new hands on awesome whole body experiences.
Secondly, make something you love. Ask yourself what is your truth. What is beautiful to you? What are your favorite colors, themes, and things? Fit Nature into your life. These trigger the senses and touch your passion.
Thirdly, reclaiming your self enables you to Play with art to keep moving forward. Each creation you make is like your own personal signature. One piece leads to the next. After each one, ask yourself how did you feel making this. What did you learn about yourself?
