3 Necessities for Making Strong Art have to begin with knowing skills. Skills are the craft of art. They can be practiced and improved upon. Techniques, tools, and different media all fill your art toolbox so you know how to create anything from your dreams, imagination, and life.
Secondly, I believe we have to make meaningful art to feel inner satisfaction. Art becomes interesting when it reflects our life. What sparks your curiosity? How can you ignite your passion? You need to dig deep and really know yourself to create things you love.
Third, surround yourself with supportive people. This is your art, your personal style, an expression of your feelings and emotions. Don’t let anyone in who doesn’t encourage you and your art by their words and actions. Your creations are too valuable.
Ask yourself, do you seek skills to create all that you see in your imagination? Or do you see direction to apply those skills to art with meaning? Let me know what you think.
Dragonfly Art & Mentorship Program covers both. What do you think about getting art in small doses one week at a time? Comment on my page and let’s get the conversation flowing.
