Art creates a happy life as I view the world with Artists Eyes. For example, sheltering in place hasn’t changed my life much at all. About the only difference is that my husband now does all the grocery shopping! Excellent! I love creating in my studio each day.
The key is that through all life’s survival challenges, I’ve always chosen art. Choosing creativity feeds your soul. Art is like making music, creating a dance, or writing poetry. You’re in an altered state that’s timeless, peaceful, and inspired. Doing Art creates Balance in your inner world, the only true place you have power.
Art creates a happy life as you live with intent in inspiration. Sure, you will learn how to paint and use all kinds of different media at Dragonfly Art Studio. But that’s not the reason to join. Art in any form, reduces stress and cortisol in the body. Filled with endorphins, you enjoy life more and transform into a positive loving human being. You do art because of who you Become in the doing. Creating an art habit changes you. The outer world gets in balance with the inner land of imagination.
You develop trust in your decisions, confidence in your abilities, and expand your life in every way. The sky gets bluer, the earth more beautiful, and your art more meaningful. You’ll find your life happier as a result. That changes everything.
Art gets you through survival mode by lightening your soul. You come from a deep land of the inner imagination. Inspiration flows into this place when you’re open to it in mindfulness. Also, making meaningful art that reflects your life, moves energy forward. You don’t get stuck in the emotional trauma, doubt, or grief. Even as the world changes, you move forward on your personal path.
Art sustained me through changing jobs, many moves, a divorce, and years of single parenting. Yet, I was a happy person through it all.
Most of all, art reflects my feelings in the moment. A stag crossed my path when my dad passed. Paintings of magical stags let me imbue my emotions into the canvas. When my mother was placed in Home Hospice, I brought all my paints and paper over to her house as I cared for her. I found myself making a central tree, symbolic of her heart center. She is surrounded by smaller trees of myself and my brothers, standing there as her witnesses & caregivers. Art creates harmony.
So sign up over at Dragonfly Art Studio for the latest art, inspiration, and art tips. My motivation is to add happiness to your life, show different ways to create beautiful art, and connect with you on your artists journey. We’re all in this together.
